We are producing very easy-to-make harp kits for students and teachers. They are designed to be cost effective, easy to ship and strung with the tension approaching that of the concert harp so playing techniques can be learned and practiced efficiently.

Kits come either unfinished or finished, and in three sizes: 27 strings, 33 strings and 36 strings. See specifications in the table below.

All the wood work has been done; there is no gluing or drilling necessary for either kit. 

The unfinished kit requires light sanding, varnishing, hardware installation (eyelets, bridge pins, tuning pins, stringing and lever installation) and neck and pillar assembling. No special skills are required, just a bit of time.

The finished kit requires just the assembly of the neck and pillar, and tuning; a 15 minute job as the joint is a dry joint held together with special 2 bolts. The only tool you need is a 1/2 inch socket wrench.

Sharping levers are extra and can be installed on the finished kit prior to shipping. For the unfinished kit, installation must be done after varnishing and stringing. It is not difficult, but requires drilling the holes for the screws.

All Students Harp Kits come with an instruction manual, a tuning key, and have black taper tuning  pegs, brass bridge pins and brass eyelets.
